DECEMBER 2007
We are again
sponsoring a team for the American Heart
Association's Heart Walk at the River
Valley Mall on February 23rd. Our team
ranked 5th last year in raising funds
for this great cause! If you would like
to contribute you may do so on-line
(minimum $25 donation) by logging onto
http://heartwalk.kintera.org/faifieldcountyoh
and choosing "find a participant" on the
left side of the screen and typing in
one of our registered employees names.
Well winter
is knocking at our door again. Yes its
November already. As is normal for this
time of year we are rushing to get all
our exterior concrete poured. We are
happy with this year even though the
residential housing market is down.
On the
commercial side of the company we are
starting 3 new projects this month, for
a new total of 18 projects in progress.
I'd like to
remind all residential homeowners you
are running out of time to re-seal your
exterior concrete. With our freeze and
thaw temperatures in central Ohio it is
critical to protect the surface.
Concrete is porous therefore moisture on
the surface soaks in, when it freezes at
night it expands and during the day as
it thaws it contracts. Over time this
causes surface deteriation i.e..
spaulding or pitting. A properly applied
coat of penetrating sealer will stop the
moisture from getting into the surface
and in turn prevent any surface
problems. If you have any questions
e-mail us and we will be happy to help
you.

Steve
