BASELINE QUALIFICATIONS:

The Project Engineer will possess the knowledge, skill, and/or ability in the following areas essential to perform the functions of the position.  

Education and/or Experience

  • 4 year college degree in Construction Management or equivalent preferred. 

  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings

  • Knowledge of Microsoft based programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Pro-contractor, and Blue-Beam.

  • Good organizational and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of a variety of project types with emphasis on Commercial/Industrial.

  • Valid driver’s license or State ID

  • Reliable transportation

Language / Communication Skills

  • Good listening and communication skills.

  • Willing to learn and teach

  • Effective communication with team members

Mathematical Skills

  • Ability to calculate Units and Man Hours

  • Ability to calculate values and percentages

Interpersonal Skills

  • Ability to effectively present information to your team

  • Be a Mentor to a fellow employee

Availability/Dependability

  • Able to work 5 to 6 days a week

  • Be on time daily

Physical Demands

  • Ability to walk onto different job site terrains

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds

Work Environment

  • Ability to walk onto different job site terrains

  • Work in office and outside in field 

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to perform duties of this role year-round and on demanding work site.

  • Ability to drive to multiple job-site in any given day

  • Frequently required to stand and use hands for long periods of time.

  • Ability to use construction tools such as saws, drills, sledge hammers, ect.

  • Ability to work with co-workers to get the concrete work done when they are in a pinch.
