OUR STORY

Thompson Concrete had its humble beginnings starting in 1989. Our President, Scott Thompson, started placing and finishing residential interior and exterior flatwork and footings. All we had was a used truck, bobcat and a few motivated people that included Steve Fitterer, Eric Markins, Howard Whitcraft, and a dream.

From there the company took off, opening Thompson Concrete Foundations in 1997. We had the vision to expand into the single-family concrete poured wall business. At that time, Scott hired Aaron Dubeck, recruited his father, Fred Thompson, and Brothers Tab and Brad to lead the poured wall business.

By 1999, one decade into the business, we were ready to expand into the Commercial Concrete business. Bob Sykes joined the business, enabling us to branch out, providing quality concrete workmanship for local schools, warehouses, government buildings, churches, and such, in and around the Central Ohio area.

In 2005, Thompson Excavation was created to expand the services we could offer our clients. This move made it possible to handle all the dirt work, utilities and roads.

In 2016, Inferno Concrete Pumping was added under the Thompson Concrete umbrella with the partnership of Jeff Craiglow with Onsite Pumping. We were able to offer our clients and other builders a concrete pump option. We pride ourselves on our pump truck fleet that currently consists of seven well-maintained concrete pumps.

In 2019, DTK Site Solutions was added with Woody Moher as Managing Partner. DTK is a full service surveying company to complete our full-circle package.

Over the last 30 plus years, Thompson Concrete has expanded its service from the Central Ohio area to West Virginia and Kentucky, providing a turnkey solution for Builders, Construction Managers and Developers.
