Thompson Concrete Waves of Mercy

Since our founding, more than three decades ago, we have delivered highly personalized service steeped in faith, family, safety, integrity, and quality that has never changed. Thompson Concrete believes in “ Servant Leadership”  leading from the heart, empowering employees, and making strategic decisions that fuel the success of the company and its teammates. We empower each person to be the best version of themselves, on and off the job. Our mission is to entrust and empower our team to create the best possible experience for clients, communities, and families through honoring God.

Our company is proud to be led by solid Christian ideals and morals. We work closely with several local non-profit organizations and participate in missions in different countries globally, including Haiti, where we are proud to have built a feeding center, housing, church and  a 54’ tall concrete cross for the families and children in the area.  In India we have provided a fresh water well  and church for two villages. In Russia they have been able to expand churches along with opening a rehab center with our continued support.

Waves of Mercy’s mission is to introduce the fallen, brokenhearted, and those crushed in Spirit to the love of God. They provide housing, education, clothing, food, and medical needs for ten mission boys. They also have a mission school where dozens of kindergarten and elementary-age children receive an education..

Waves of Mercy is proud to offer a nutritional program for the local community, serving a nutritious meal to children in need. Through the work of Waves of Mercy, hundreds of children are fed in Port-de-Paix every day.

In partnership with the families who work here at Thompson Concrete, Waves of Mercy offers sponsorship of children in Port-de-Paix. Many Thompson employees invest in caring for a child in Haiti, including our Senior Operations Manager, Tom Shingary, who sponsors two families through Waves of Mercy Missionary.

Our team sponsors each child so they can receive a proper educations and provide essentials that could not be possible due to the economy and living conditions in Haiti. We are are proud that our TC family belives in this mission as much we do.

X Church

The mission of X Church is helping people get on the path to God. But, how they do that is what makes them unique. They are intentional about creating a culture that reaches people who are far from God or have maybe never been to church before. So whether someone grew up in church or have never been, They invite all to come as they are to experience worship in a fresh way.

The Vineyard Community Church

Vineyard Community Church has a strong commitment to our local community. Their property has developed into one of the premiere playground areas for many young families. Their sports program, Upward Soccer, has over 100 children participating each year. Vineyard Community Church has been offering a free medical clinic and pregnancy care center for over ten years as well as free legal aid, and computer and bicycle repair clinics. In 2009 Vineyard Community Church sent out its first church planting team and started a new Vineyard church in the Bexley area. In 2016 the Vineyard Preschool officially started.
